Wonderful Plant Watering
Water every houseplant at the right time: 60 plants as templates, a morning reminder and a watering plan as PDF for your holiday. 100% offline – no account, no server, no cloud.
Version 1.0 · iPhone · iOS 17 or later · English and German
Houseplants rarely die from too little love – but from the wrong watering rhythm. Wonderful Plant Watering tells you every morning who is thirsty.
Add a plant from 60 houseplants, herbs and windowsill plants – monstera, orchid, cactus, basil and many more. Rhythm, amount and light are filled in, and you can change everything. Add a room and a photo if you like. Every morning, “Water today” shows which plants are due or overdue. One tap on the check: watered.
Get it
One-time purchase, no subscription, no in-app purchases. Available on the App Store.
100% offline. GDPR compliant.
The app makes no internet connection at all. No account, no server, no ads, no tracking. Your plants and photos stay on your iPhone and in your own iPhone backup (iCloud or your computer) – you can switch that off in Settings. You pick photos from your library yourself; the app only sees that one picture. Reminders are local notifications.
How it works
- Add your plants from the templates or your own. Don't know the name? Pick a growth form and swipe through the pictures until you spot yours.
- Every morning “Water today” lists what is due – with room and amount.
- One tap on the check: watered. Tapped by mistake? Another tap takes it back.
- From November to February the app uses the longer rest-season rhythm by itself – for the southern hemisphere too, if you like.
What you get
- 60 plant templates with picture, rhythm, amount and light
- One reminder at the time you choose, on days when something is due – naming the plants
- A calendar of your month: what was watered and what is due
- Every plant with its history and how often you really water it
- A watering plan for your holiday as PDF: day by day which plant, with photo, room, amount and note – to send or print
- Help inside the app
Permissions
Notifications for the reminder, if you want it. Photos only through the system picker – the app gets the one picture you choose, never your library. No camera, no location, no network.
What it is not
The rhythms are guide values for a medium pot. The app does not identify plants and knows nothing about soil or position – when in doubt, the finger test helps.
Requirements
