Wonderful Warranty
Scan a receipt – merchant, date and amount are read on your iPhone – and get reminded before the warranty runs out. 100% offline – no account, no server, your receipts stay with you.
Version 1.0 · iPhone · iOS 17 or later · English and German
The washing machine quits after 20 months – and where is the receipt? Wonderful Warranty keeps your receipts and reminds you before a deadline passes.
Scan the receipt or invoice – the camera finds the edges by itself. Or pick a photo, or import the PDF from an email. Your iPhone reads merchant, date of purchase, amount and the product; you check what is marked “recognised” and correct it if needed. Choose the legal warranty and a manufacturer warranty – done.

One-time purchase, no subscription, no in-app purchases. Available on the App Store.
100% offline. GDPR compliant.
Receipts reveal your address and what you buy. So they stay on your iPhone: no internet connection, no account, no server, no ads, no tracking. Text recognition runs on the device. Your purchases and receipts are backed up only in your own iPhone backup (iCloud or your computer) – and a switch in Settings leaves them out. Nothing is shared unless you share it yourself.
How it works
- Scan, pick a photo or import a PDF.
- Check the recognised merchant, date, amount and product.
- Choose the warranty periods, for example 2 years plus 3 years from the manufacturer.
- 7, 14, 30 or 60 days before a deadline you get a notification – while a repair is still covered.
What you get
- A list with what runs out next on top: valid, soon, expired
- Papers for a warranty claim as one PDF: product, date of purchase, price, serial number, deadlines and the receipt
- Product photos and documents such as the manual
- Search that also finds words on the receipt; sorting by room
- A household list for the insurance as PDF – item, room, date, merchant, price and total value – and as CSV
Permissions
Camera – only to scan receipts. Photos and files only through the system pickers: the app sees just what you pick. Notifications for the reminders. No location, no contacts, no network.
What it is not
The app keeps the deadlines you enter and reminds you of them. It does not check any claims and is no legal advice.
Requirements
iPhone with iOS 17 or later.
